What DevStackIO is
DevStackIO is an independent technology publication at https://www.devstackio.com/. It covers the tools and systems that developers, engineers, IT professionals and technical students use every day:
- developer tools, languages and workflows;
- artificial intelligence, machine learning and how they change software development;
- cloud computing and infrastructure;
- DevOps, platform engineering and site reliability;
- Linux, open-source software and networking;
- security and vulnerability management;
- industry events, releases and end-of-life changes that affect technical decisions.
DevStackIO also operates a separate browser-based tools site at tools.devstackio.com, where utilities such as formatters, validators, generators and converters run entirely in the visitor’s browser. That site is a separate service with its own documentation, and it is not governed by the policies on this page.
Who publishes the Site
DevStackIO is published and maintained by Vinod Kumar Rodda. There is no editorial team, no corporate publisher behind it, and no external owner. Articles are written, checked and published by the Publisher, who is also the point of contact for everything on the Site.
Who the Site is for
Content is written for developers and technical professionals who want to understand something accurately and then act on it. Articles assume some familiarity with the tools they describe, but each one is written to be useful to someone encountering the topic for the first time. Where a topic has a genuine effect on non-technical readers, we say so plainly.
How content is produced
Articles are researched from primary and official sources first — vendor documentation, specifications, standards, advisories and original announcements — and written with an emphasis on practical usefulness and technical accuracy. Where a claim is uncertain or time-sensitive, the article says so rather than presenting it as settled. Commercial considerations do not determine editorial conclusions. The process is set out in full in our Editorial Policy.
How we handle errors
Technology documentation changes, and articles do age. When a genuine factual error is reported, it is corrected and the article is updated; where a correction materially changes an article’s meaning, we note it. The process, and how to report a problem, is in our Corrections Policy. Reporting an error is also the fastest way to tell us an article is outdated.
How DevStackIO makes money
It does not, currently. The Site carries no advertising, no sponsored content, no affiliate links and no ecommerce. We say so explicitly in our Advertising Disclosure and Affiliate Disclosure, and both pages explain what would change if that ever changed.
Site availability and uptime
DevStackIO is monitored continuously by UptimeRobot, which checks this Site at regular intervals and reports its current availability below. The monitor reports on the Site as a whole rather than on individual articles.
The badge is hosted by UptimeRobot rather than by us, so loading it discloses your IP address and browser information to that service. It is a third-party element, and we cannot fully control its accessibility or its availability. If you would prefer not to load it, you can ignore it — nothing else on this page depends on it. Our position on third-party content and cookies is set out in the Cookie Policy.
Accessibility
We work towards WCAG 2.1 Level AA and EN 301 549, publish our current conformance status honestly, including known limitations, and fix reported barriers. See the Accessibility Statement.
