1. Who runs the Site

The Site is an independent technology publication operated by Vinod Kumar Rodda, established in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. The Publisher is the contracting party under these Terms. Contact the Publisher at [email protected].

tools.devstackio.com is a separate service operated separately, is governed by its own terms published at tools.devstackio.com/terms, and is not covered by these Terms.

2. Eligibility and accounts

The Site is available to anyone who can access it. You do not need an account to read articles, use search, or subscribe to the RSS feed. If you post a comment, you give the information the comment form asks for and you are responsible for that information being accurate. You must be legally capable of entering into a contract in your jurisdiction in order to post comments or to accept these Terms.

3. Permitted use

You may use the Site for personal, informational and non-commercial purposes, and you may quote short extracts from our articles with clear attribution and a link to the original article. You must not:

  • access the Site in a way that interferes with its operation, availability or security, including automated scraping, crawling, load testing, denial-of-service attempts, or circumventing rate limits;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, the server, the database or connected systems;
  • probe or test the Site for vulnerabilities without our written permission, or publish details of any vulnerability before we have had a reasonable opportunity to fix it;
  • use the Site to distribute malware, phishing material, spam, or unlawful content;
  • misrepresent your identity when posting a comment, or impersonate anyone;
  • reproduce, republish, scrape or redistribute substantial portions of the Site’s content systematically or automatically, including for training machine-learning systems, without written permission. Quotation with attribution is permitted as described above.

Research and personal archiving, including services such as the Internet Archive, are permitted provided they do not degrade the Site for other readers or breach copyright.

4. Comments and user contributions

You are solely responsible for anything you post as a comment. Comments must be lawful, relevant, respectful, and must not contain spam, advertising, or material that infringes the rights of others. We may edit or remove any comment that breaches these Terms or that we reasonably consider unlawful. We do not promise to pre-screen comments. By posting a comment you grant the Publisher a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display and use that comment on the Site, including the right to store it in backups.

5. Intellectual property

Original content published on the Site — including article text, original graphics, and the DevStackIO name and branding — is owned by the Publisher and protected by copyright. Third-party material referenced on the Site, including trademarks, logos, product names and quoted text, belongs to its respective owners. Nothing in these Terms grants you a trademark licence. See the Copyright & DMCA Policy for reuse requests and infringement reporting.

6. Third-party links and content

The Site links to, and may quote from, third-party websites, documentation, software and services that we do not control. Links are provided for your convenience and for factual context. We do not endorse, and are not responsible for, the content, availability, security or practices of any third party, or for any transaction you enter into with one. Any software, product or service named on the Site is named for explanatory purposes; you should consult the vendor’s own current documentation and terms before relying on it.

7. Advertising, sponsorship and affiliate relationships

The Site currently displays no advertising, no sponsored content, no affiliate links and no ecommerce. If any of these are introduced, they will be disclosed in accordance with our Advertising Disclosure and Affiliate Disclosure, and, for sponsored content, in the article itself. Introducing advertising will not change our editorial conclusions; our approach is set out in the Editorial Policy.

8. Content is informational, not professional advice

Articles are published for general information and education. They are not legal, medical, financial, security or other regulated professional advice, and they are not a substitute for advice from a qualified professional who understands your situation. Technical instructions, commands and configuration examples are provided for educational reference; you use them at your own risk and are responsible for understanding them, testing them safely, and backing up your own systems. The full position is set out in the Disclaimer.

9. Availability, changes and security

The Site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any content will be complete or current at the time you read it, because technology and vendor documentation change after publication. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site, or change these Terms, at any time. Where a change to these Terms is material, we will update the “Last updated” date on this page.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Publisher is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill or business opportunity, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site or its content. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, the Consumer Rights Act 2015, or any applicable equivalent law.

11. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Publisher against any claim, loss, damage, cost or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Site, your breach of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party right.

12. Security of the Site

We maintain reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the Site, including HTTPS with HTTP Strict Transport Security, network-level DDoS and bot protection, a web application firewall, and host-level malware scanning. These measures are designed to reduce risk, not to eliminate it. Please do not attempt to bypass them, and report any suspected security problem to [email protected]. We operate a responsible disclosure approach: we ask that you give us a reasonable opportunity to remediate a problem before disclosing it publicly, and we will not pursue legal action against good-faith research that follows this request.

13. Accessibility

We aim to make the Site usable by as many people as possible and we work towards the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA and EN 301 549. Our current conformance status, known limitations, and how to report a barrier are published on the Accessibility Statement. If you encounter a barrier, please tell us at [email protected], including the page, the problem, and the browser or assistive technology you use.

14. Privacy

Our use of your personal data is described in the Privacy Policy, and our use of cookies in the Cookie Policy. Non-essential cookies and analytics are not used unless you consent through the consent panel in the Site footer.

15. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Hyderabad, Telangana, India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from or in connection with these Terms, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights or rights you may have under the law of your place of residence that cannot be waived. If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, this does not remove the protection you have under the mandatory law of your place of residence. Nothing in this section limits the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority or another regulator.

16. Severability, waiver and assignment

If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, it will be modified to the minimum extent necessary, or severed, and the remaining provisions will continue in effect. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these Terms; we may update them as described in section 9.
