This Copyright and DMCA Policy explains who owns the content published on DevStackIO, how you may reuse it, and how to report allegedly infringing material.
Last updated: 5 October 2026.
Who owns the content
DevStackIO is operated by Vinod Kumar Rodda, based in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. Original content published on the Site — including article text, original illustrations, diagrams and the DevStackIO name and branding — is owned by the Publisher and protected by copyright. It is published for informational purposes and is protected by copyright law, including the U.S. Copyright Act and the Indian Copyright Act, 1957, as amended, together with the Berne Convention, to which India is a party.
Content that originates elsewhere, including software, logos, product names, trademarks and quoted text, belongs to its respective owners. We do not claim ownership of it. Quotation and citation for commentary are treated as fair use or fair dealing where applicable, and are always attributed.
What you may do without asking
- Share links to our articles using ordinary link-sharing tools and social features.
- Quote short extracts — a sentence or a short paragraph — with clear attribution, a link to the original article, and enough context for the quotation to be fair.
- Use our articles for personal study, research, and internal evaluation, including subscribing to the RSS feed.
- Submit a link to one of our articles to a search engine, aggregator, or reference work, with attribution.
Automated and systematic republication is not permitted, including scraping or bulk-copying content to republish elsewhere, or using the Site’s content as input to training a machine-learning model without written permission.
Reusing our content
If you want to reuse more than a short quotation — for example in a course, a book, a company handbook, a presentation, or a commercial product — email [email protected] with:
- who you are and the organisation you represent;
- the article title and URL;
- what you want to reuse and how much;
- the format and where it will appear, including whether it will be paid or free;
- the term of use you are asking for.
Permission, where granted, is specific to the request. There is no general licence to reproduce our content, and a link does not by itself make an article reusable. We may decline a request, for example where the intended use is misleading about its source or would damage the accuracy of the content.
Reporting alleged infringement of your copyright
If you believe that material available on DevStackIO infringes your copyright, email [email protected] with the information listed below. Email is our preferred method for notices. Notices sent to us in any language are accepted, and we reply in English.
A valid notice should include, in accordance with 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3):
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed. If multiple works are covered by a single notice, a representative list is acceptable.
- Identification of the infringing material and the URL of the page where it appears.
- Your contact details — name, company if applicable, postal address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notice is accurate, and — under penalty of perjury — that you are the rights holder or are authorised to act on the rights holder’s behalf.
- Your signature, physical or electronic, in the notice.
We review notices and will, where appropriate and lawful, remove or disable access to the material and notify the person who posted it.
Counter-notices
If your material was removed and you believe the removal was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to [email protected] stating that the material was removed by mistake or misidentification, that you have a good-faith belief it was not infringing, and that you consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate federal court, with a physical or electronic signature and a statement under penalty of perjury. We will forward valid counter-notices to the complainant. We may restore removed material in accordance with the applicable law.
Repeat infringers
We maintain and enforce a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the access of repeat infringers. Because comments are the only user-submitted content on the Site, repeat infringement is handled by removing comments and disabling future comment postings where we judge it necessary.
Fair use, fair dealing and attribution
We select short quotations, screenshots, and excerpts on the basis that they are proportionate to the point being made and add commentary or technical context. We expect that others will do the same with our content: quote sparingly, attribute clearly, link to the original, and do not present our work as your own. “Attribution alone does not make a use fair” — the amount taken and the purpose of the use both matter.
Attribution requests
There is no single approved way to credit DevStackIO. Please cite the article title, the author as “DevStackIO”, and the full article URL, and include the date you accessed it.
